I've been thinking about investing in a training dvd set such as parreli but don't know which one to get. What ones have you used and what do you like best about it?
Perhaps this should be moved to the natural horsemanship section of the forum.....just so this topic doesn't blow up.......
I do Parelli with my horses and I highly recommend it. If you are wanting to get started with it, I suggest you get the Seven Games DVD or the entire Success Series. That will get you started on the right track. Or you can look on Ebay for the Level 1 pack.
I like Dennis Reis. He's a nice mixture of Clinton Anderson and Parelli and hasn't gone too overboard with overpricing and merchandising. Sure things are still pricey. Also his stuff is harder to find on eBay. That's just my two cents though
Try this book- it's the best training tool I've ever come across: If I were to Train a Horse by Jack Brainard. Jack is one of the judges for Road to the Horse.
