first lunge lesson today

I rode the new pony last week and she doesn't have much of a gas pedal, so I've started over with ground work

Today was her first lunge lesson and after a few times deciding to kick at me and learning that the whip bites when she does that, she went both directions (w/t) on verbal cues. She was licking her lips by the end of the lesson, which we finished by picking up her feet and working on backing up

Last night my man rode her bareback for a few minutes (good girl didn't buck when I helped him on and he starts off with legs in her flanks LOL) - he decided that bareback was not good for men and got off LOL He requested a saddle next time.. I guess I could be nice ;)

No pics from today, but here's a couple from last night! no critiquing his riding please ;) I think this is the first time he has ever rode

absolutely nothing wrong with your man's way of riding. It looks like he is a natural rider!

he wanted to ride again last night, but I'd already given her a 30 minute lunge lesson so I told him no

one night this week he probably will ride again =)
