They will be 3 in April and I only rode for about 10-15 min. On both of them. I figure that's enough for the first time.
They both did well at walking out and giving to the pressure of the lead rope to turn and whoa. I think they are going to be fine trail horses by the end of summer

I started out with just pressure in the stirrup working my way up to full weight and then throwing a leg over. They both stood still at the mounting block till I got all the way up, they are such good baby's
I'm very proud of them and myself for having the courage to be the first one in the saddle on them. I never thought I could do it and wanted to share with you.
