GaWaNi Pony Boy Clinic in California

Horses Teaching People Ground Clinic November 7 & 8, 2009

What you will learn
This 2-day course teaches students and auditors ground exercises such as controlling forward movement, gait control, changing direction, the outside turn, the inside turn, working outside of the round pen, and overcoming obstacles. These exercises are essential to gaining your horse’s trust and respect as well as giving students a completely new understanding of their horse’s motivations and attitudes. This course also includes a mini course on stretches for horse and rider. Students and their horses perform the exercises in one of the three classrooms (round pens), a good portion of their education comes from interacting with other students and their horses. Students are divided into three teams and each team is assigned to a classroom.

The clinic will start at 9 am and wrap up for the day at 4:30 both Saturday and Sunday. There will be a long lunch break in order to give the horses a well earned break. The goal of this clinic is for individuals to be able to perform all of the covered topics and exercises when they go home.

Auditing is a great opportunity to learn Pony’s techniques and see the results with a number of different horses and personalities. You will not be disappointed! This is a fantastic learning opportunity either with your horse or without. Auditors should bring their own chairs and will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the day.

NOVEMBER 7 & 8th : We are currently accepting ONLY 12 horses/handlers for a Horses Teaching People 1 Clinic taught by GaWaNi PonyBoy. If you are not familiar with GaWaNi, please see our website at Gawani Pony Boy

Auditors are welcome to come watch and take notes. You get the opportunity to audit 12 different horses each with different personalities and problems and how Pony will help the handlers work on correcting all the different issues. Pony also hosts a question and answer session throughout both days with everyone at the clinic!!!

You know, I am not a big fan of NH - but I would so go, if I could stand there and watch that hunka man work with horses...........and as an added bonus, if he could possibly do it ,while wearing a loin cloth....
