Getting my horse fitter help?

Hi Zeby here just wondering if anyone has any advice as how to get my horse fitter? I can't always ride every single day but I do most days, also he gets a small feed with a few supplements.

If you do enough trot/canter work during your ride it'll make your horse fitter every time you ride. Also hill work (trot/lope uphill) helps a lot to condition the horse.

I would do a lot of trotting on hills/slopes as well as trot poles! Good luck

Elevated trotting poles are good for building up the front of the horse but so are regular trotting poles and hills are good for their hind ends =) good luck!

I usually do a little round pen work to work on their condition, and trotting around the arena.
