I have a ten year old mare who is broke and has some training mostly through 4-H. My problem is that I haven't really rode her all winter and she has been kind of bucky the past few times I've tried... anyway, I have an all day clinic to attend on the 7th and I'm trying to get her settled down enough to ride safely. The only problem is I don't have any open area where I could train and be safe. Most of our property is full of trees or cars or isn't flat. And I don't have a roundpen. Any suggestions for safely riding/training her on such short notice?
