    got Sky to do bareback for the first time :)

    As some of you may know I got my Tennessee Walker, Sky, about 5 months ago. We have been working on the basics such as steering (yes he had no idea how to listen to leg cues) and stopping (the old owner literally pulled back the reins as far as she could and yelled "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOAH!!!!!") and now he is getting so much better! I love that's he LIKES to learn and learns quickly! Now that i'm getting used to him I wanted to ride him bareback (the owner said he could). I just got on like normal and he got very tense and squirmy so I got off. I started to practice bareback by laying on his back and walking away and so fourth and he finally got it! Then I just took him for a walk around the feild and he did great! I am so proud of him and how much he is improving! Ok my happy rant is over hehe
