Talking Great ride had to share!!!

Okay, so im training my 4 y.o thoroughbred charlie, and he still likes to do that, "Track jig" before he trots, and I've been working really hard to get him to relax and focus, so I've been doing liberty work with him to get him to relax before we go out. He does fantastic at liberty work! (found that out when he wouldnt lunge on the line.) but anyways, I took him out into one of the open fields that's at my farm to ride around a little and cool off, and I could tell he was getting excited and wanted to just take off, so I asked him for a trot, and it was amazing, he didnt jig, he stayed focusted, I was so proud!!! (i know im probably over doing it but, I love my boy lol)
I just had to share it!!!

You should be proud!!
You're getting through to him and he is obviously listening. Im so glad you guys have been making progress. Keep it up as he is more then likely used to the rutine now and if he is responding the way he is he must be happy.
Just remember that no matter what you will have set backs every now and again and when you do its just more of a reason so put more work in. But again a huge WELLDONE and im happy for you guys !!
