I have lunged him before, but was only the basics I suppose. You know basic commands from walk to stop to walk and then trot back to walk and stop. He was always very successful and did well at this but these are the only things that I know to do from a lunge lead and have not successfully been able to get him to canter on the lunge lead. If you have read earlier comments a suggestion was made to use two lunge leads, this turned out as a bad idea for my horse as he didn’t take t it very well and well freaked him out. So if you have any ideas to get him going I would love to hear them.
