Firstly i would like to say a big hello i'm a newbie here.
Anyway the problem is my little mare, she was a little barn sour at first, i thought a solved that problem with ckicker training she was going really well, until recently her new trick is just as we have left the yard she will stop and try to turn back, so i turn her in circles then try to make her walk on, then she will do a really quick circle and canter the other way.
I ride with a indian bosel, this does not stop her at all, i always end up on the floor.
My confidence is slowly going, i'm scared to get on her now in case she bolts off again.
I'm guessing one of the problems, there is a colt in the yard, and when she's in season she is a nightmare is there any supplements to help her stroppyness??
I ride her western so what kind of bit could i use to give me more brakes.:-(
