Run your fingers down his back and see if there was any pain.

Was your unintended dismount due to being caught off guard or was the bucking that nasty?

LOL Well both it caught me off guard and yes it was nasty. It's been one day now and I can honestly say I am very sore and still have a headache.I have a nice knot on my forehead I did not have a buck strap on because he has never bucked.

We do have yellow fly's bad,I really think he is trying to figure out how to get out of work he is a very smart horse to smart for his own good sometimes. If he was trying to get out of work I]'m a little nervous about getting back on but I know I have to now...

How long since his sheath has been cleaned? That will cause bucking too.

you are kidding right? Well I guess it's been a year and yes it's in a mess. How do you clean it ?I clean it once but he was on ace from having his teeth floated. Please explain to me how that would make a horse buck?

A bean (build up of smegma) can be inside a horse's sheath, which is as painful as a human passing a kidney stone. It would be a likely cause for bucking.
