help traing my 5 year old

Hi, I have a 5 year old appaloosaXqhXtb. I would just like to know what kind of stuff should I be doing with him ?? He can be stubborn, flighty and lazy. He also tends to buck and tossing his head when he thinks the ride should be over. Also he does this thing where he will stop and will take a lot of work to get him to move again. I am hoping to do ARC with him, but to get there we have to go down roads and he is spooky on roads, especially with fast cars, trucks, buses. Also what will I need to teach him to do ARC ?? Any help will be appreciated, thankyou.

Do you have a trainer? If no, you should.

I have come a long way, to surrender my shadow to the shadow of my horse.

I have to agree with your needing a trainer to help work through the problems with your horse. Maybe, if you know an experienced person who could help you that would be another option.

There are trainers that will come to you. Sounds like you need some help or this can turn into a dangerous situation.
