Here Comes the Hard Parts :)
So yesterday we had a very spooky day. I haven't worked with him for like 3 days because of my work schedule. He played hard to catch :) Then I went back tried again at the evening time and still the same thing so I bribed him with some grain. He doesn't always do it, so I'm hoping it doesn't become a habit. Then I took him to the round pen, did my lunging and tried to put the bridle on. OMG! He hates something going behind his ears that's new! I guess this is going to be his thing. I really thought he'd be hard to saddle but we've had the saddle on plenty of times and girth with no bad reaction whatsoever! So seriously? He wouldn't take the bit, the best I could do was hook the bridle around his neck and let the reins hang and I let him walk around and trot around like that while it bounced. He didn't mind that really. So that was our new thing for the day and it looks like that's what we'll be working on right now until we conquor it. I hope the hard to catch thing doesn't continue! AAHH
