Last night my mom went for a walk and I was going to meet her on her way back on Champ. So I did when I was waiting Champ saw the mini donkeys in a feild and he lost it (keep in mind were 2-3 km from home) he spun from out of no where and skipped hopped and sprung down the road I decided to bail on the grass (either that or the road later on) I some how landed on my feet but lost the reins. Champ ran like a mad man .Everyone was coming out of there houses gawking and yelling and making phone calls it was a mess. My mom and I had to run all the way home. I was praying to god he wouldn't run to the highway he just kept going and going until he reached his paddock and holy crap he didn't not lose speed. Some guy gave me a ride and our nieghbour saw him in the the driveway and he stood and waited so he wouldn't get out .Cham ended up being fine. My reins on the other hand were destroyed and my new jeans. But could be worse.The rest of me ride was awful too..
Just another reason to get your horse used to everything you can and wear a helmet when riding on the roads or if you want everywhere.
