Homemade course?

Hello. I put this under the jumping section but you don't have to be a jumper to help out. I want to know some different ideas on how to make a cheap affordable homemade X country course. I would like the course to be from 12" - 3' ! Any ideas would help thanks (:

I think you'll find lots of ideas if you do a search. What materials do you have access to?

Tractor Supply has the wooden fence posts... They are nice and sturdy for cross rails etc!! I think they're $6 each?

The concrete blocks are tempting, but I'd be concerned about either falling on them or having the horse somehow trip or fall over them... they aren't very forgiving. Logs work well... you can always do a "log cabin" style box to hold the logs going across. If you can cut them up, you can stack them like firewood and jump that. As for the sticks, if it's like brush, you can try to pack it in front of a jump to give it some substance and width.
