Horse Exercise Routine

I have two horses, Charm & Boston. Boston is a Western Pleasure, Trail, and Cow horse. He is also 23 years old and is my dad's horse. Charm is an All-Around Western horse and is 12 years old who is only mine. I go to the barn 2-3 times a week because it is hard with juggling school, but am moving in a few months and they will be at my house. Then they will be worked everyday. I am a high competitor, but my horses haven't been in the best work ethic since it's cold. Now I am wanting them to get in shape before the show season, but I am having a hard time getting into a rountine schedule. Something that will work for the BOTH of them maybe by ponying one behind the other? My dad is in Nevada at the moment and won't be back for awhile so I am on my own. I have access to trails, an outdoor arena, and a riding field.

So my question is, is does anyone have an exercise routine for me? Also, Boston is VERY well behaved. But Charm has a ONE issue. When we are in the field (we board at the moment) and the other horses start running around she gets VERY antsy. I know it might also be the cold weather. Any getting fit, leading, or being the ALPHA tips for me? Thanks!
