You might try putting up some flyers at your local tack/feed stores. Craigslist.com is good too.

A great way of getting a horse to ride is to put an add in the classifieds explaining your level of riding experience. Also some training or boarding facilities have their barn help exercise horses. That would require you cleaning out stalls, feeding horses etc as well tho.
Posting an add is the best way. If you can get some call backs, that's all you end up doing which is nice.
