How do they train them to do that(and if you answer, I like speicifics- clearly it takes a lot of time and patience- but time and patience doing what)? Is this what people are talking about when they say natural horsemanship?

I seem to have missed the video on bull fighting but if I am choosing a video on bull fighting, this is one of my favorites. Merlin

Those horses and riders are kick @$$! I don't bull fight, but my trainer has made me watch so many of those videos, and I've looked at so many pictures of them riding because the horses really know how to move utlizing their hindquarters, they are so light on the forehand, and the rider's seat really frees the horse up so they can use their bodies correctly! Thanks for the vid!

Horse+rider=Freakin' Amazing!!!!

Although, I hate seeing them stabbing the bull like that, I know I'll probably get bashed for that one, but it's still abuse. I just can't help but think of my friends pet bull they had when I see bullfighters stabbing them, that's probably why it hits me in the wrong spot a little bit. Other than that, horse and rider are totally amazing...I'm speachless dude!!

the other awesome thing about the bull fighting video is the illustration of how the seat and the engagement of the hindquarters is what truly causes the collection of the head. I think the horses head carriage looks stunning.

Yup Rio, that is the one. As I said, an enraged bull makes perfect motivation to move perfectly... And Pechos, you wont be bashed for that, most one here have agreed in another thread that it is sick.

Merlin is so amazing, he makes my heart flutter!

How about this one for horsemanship? I just wish the video was better quality, but these guys do things I have never seen done before either! Wait until near the end. They jump a horse through (what must look like to the horse) a solid object and take off their saddles while still cantering!!!? Amazing!

I just wanted to add that I met some of the people from the first video, I went to a beginners cow clinic at Willowbrook, its not that far from me.

Everyone there was super nice, and all though it is all parelli there they didn't force parelli on anyone.
They were very professional about it.
They did ask everyone to try the clinic riding in just a rope halter, but they didn't mind those who were uncomfortable riding that way, they just asked everyone to try it.

It was a fun day anyway.
