How Can I Train My Mustang To Not Break Through Fences??
I have a 8 year old mustang mare and I've put up four fences after she brok all of them. I'm starting to get frustrated with her escaping but don't want to sell her. Does anyone have any ideas to help me??
She's obviously trying to relieve some energy. Take her out and ride her, get her running and wear her out so by the end of the day all she wants to do is eat and sleep. Replace the fences with metal bars and chain link.
I have the same issue with my pony, he always manages to find some way to get out. Whether its jumping, breaking or ducking over or under the fence. Im baffled at how he manages to get out. What kind of fence do you have? What is the width and length of the boards? How far are the posts spaced out? Posted via Mobile Device
How much space does she have? Does she have plenty of good forage or hay? Does she have a buddy ir herd? What does she do and where does she go when she gets out?
My red mare finds a way over the south gence (which is not hot) when there's not a lot of good green grass, because there is an alfalfa field adjacent to the pasture. Posted via Mobile Device
