Ground driving him completely tacked up works wonders for the greenies as well, and smooths out any 'bumps' before you get on. Not sure how that would work with a bosal though, since I've never used one before...

statements like this make me sick . Why would you tell someone to do that that.? may not be necessary at all this isnt a demo where they have to get on the horse and ride it in 2 hours . Why not just tell her to work it till near death and then hop on. While it is laying on the ground . Okay now that I got that out of my system you can do a lot of ground work to teach them the Q's with low and go . ,flexing and giving to pressure . What he was paying attention and learn all those things on the ground I would think is the time to mount him without surprising him in an enclosed area and with help
