how to make your horse move when you want them to at events

I have a mare named Fifi, and when iam at pony club, sporting day, inner clubs, and more... she wont move when they call out my name for our turn most of the time, but when someone on their horse walks out with me she will move, and as soon as she sees the event she will go for me without anyone next to us... I use a crop on her, and I kick her to make her move... I was wondering if spurs would make a difference, cause when she sees the event she just goes and don't worry about anyone else... & when we are in an event like flags, & there are other people in it she will walk forward because other horses are walking out as well & if I don't stop her moving even when we finish our event she wil be fine & do what I want her to do...

I always eventually get her to move cause I just keep on turning her, kicking her, and using the crop then when she moves I take her for a canter oh and I praise her by giving her a pat...

She might be soured on the events. Do you just do regular riding, non showing type of riding?

She's napping... Be firm! Try it at home... Does she nap when you hack out alone or can you not hack alone?

Well on sunday I had my 1st pony club ribbon day and she went fine e.g. I have jumped before and so had Fifi but we had never jumped together as I have only had Fifi for about a month or two, and we got 1st in jumping the same thing with dressage, I have done it before and so has she but we had never done it together and we got 2nd, out of the whole day I got a ribbon in every event except key hole cause she steped on the line. So I think tht she was just going through a faze on tht day :) lol thanks for replying to my post :)
