How should I teach my horse to go on the bit?

Hey everyone, ever since my pony was 2 (he is now turning 5 this year) I have trained him. But, now I am really wanting to train him to go on the bit. How should I do this? Should I just do what I normally do to put a horse on the bit to train him?
Thanks everyone!!

What do you normally do to make your horse 'go on the bit'? If your pony is moving well off the leg, will come back to your seat, accepts a consistent contact, beginning to work 'on the bit' will naturally progress if you are training correctly.

I'd suggest taking lessons with good dressage trainer. This way he/she will teach both - you and your horse together - on how to achieve it.
