How to Spur Stop

I know its controversial... But how do you spur stop a horse?

Do you just squeeze your legs with a firm spur?

My horse is trained I am not

You just sit deep and press your spurs against him. Not jab just touch and they stop. No rein contact.

We have a beginner mare who is trained to spur stop....helps with the beginner riders who may squeeze unknowingly when they get uncomfortable.
