She has two stalls connected to one paddock, I usually have one of the stalls open to the paddock for her to go back and forth. Because having woodchips in there makes her poop, I just banked them against the walls in case she would lie down. Apparently, she saw the chips... I panicked when I realized she was trying to stand on the chips against the wall and pee in the lazy comfort of her shady stall rather than in the weather outside, so I swept all the chips out... too late. She would do ALL her business in the stall. She used to be good about going outside, not anymore. I moved her into the other, completely swept stall a few days ago, hoping the change would bring her back into the old routine, but today I just saw a river of dried urine on the mats! She even deliberately comes to her stall, pees, and heads back out to pasture when the pasture gate is open.
What... have... I... done? Is there any way to fix this? Maybe putting her out to pasture full time will reset her? I guess I have to treat her like a dog now; figure out when she pees, and lock her out of the stall at those times.
