I finally got to ride Amber!

My mare Amber has been in professional training for the past 2 months. I would have trained her myself but I hurt my back during the winter and I didnt want to risk coming off such a green horse.

Anyway Monday was her last day of training and yesterday I finally got to ride her! She's AMAZING! Last time I rode her before her training she could barely walk in a straight line, now she goes walk/trot/canter, she side passes, leg yields, and turns on the forehand, she's also been up on the trails!

Riding her is such an amazing feeling! She has more power then any horse i've ever ridden. It just courses through her, its such an amazing feeling controling such power. My trainer said she's "like trying to canter a locamotive, but in a good way" Sorry im rambling im just sooo excited!! I'll take some pics next time I ride her, probably on friday

She sounds amazing! Congratulations on being able to ride her again, and I'd love to see pictures! I laughed when I read the part about her canter, she sounds just like my Rainy! <3 I love it cantering on a speedy, powerful horse though. Anyhow, have fun with her, and show us some pictures! =]
