Hello all, I was recently injured in a fender bender and I have to go through some PT and rehab. I was just gearing up to get my new horse trained from the ground up again. She has some boundary issues and I was excited to do groundwork with her to get her back into shape while also teaching her to canter as she really has only been asked to walk/trot. The place I board has no round pen so I was going to do a lot of lunge line work. Now however I have injured my right arm and I am right handed. :( Do any of you have any suggestions on how I can work with her in a large arena without the lunge line? I do not know how long I will be out of commission for and I have already had to give up working with her for the past three weeks because of my hectic life. This accident is really throwing me for a loop. I started to tear up when the doctor told me I couldn't ride.

Well, could you have someone help you? If not, is there a way to block the corners of the arena to make it more round (or smaller, if possible). This may work, however it is easiest to start them on the line before you work them off it... sorry i cant think of anything better right now.
