Just an update on my beautiful girl.

This past friday my mom and I took her and Artie for a ride again, but she rode Lenox. I was SUPER surprised, when I held her for her to mount, she stayed stock still and was listening well to me when I comforted her. The entire ride to the fields was great, but when I started loping Artie a bit, she cantered on her own! She stopped after a really short time though, I don't think she has it in her to bolt . We switched up and I worked Lenox a bit (again, she stood absolutely still while I mounted, without a block, in a 1000 acre field). I got her to canter on several occasions, so now that she does canter, the trick will be in developing that canter to be slower, collected, and rhythmic.

No pics, sorry.
