Indy's first show

Just wanted to share Indy's VERY first show video. He did race as a 3YO, then he sat for a couple of years, eventually he made it over to a polocrosse family (he still is with them), but now he is my dressage/show-jumping project. Right now, I am working on dressage with him, I will probably start jumping him again late this spring, and hopefully this summer we can do some dressage and jumping shows. He will be 8 on Jan. 30th

I was sooooooooooo happy that he actually jumped, that I forgot the jump off, lol :)

P.S. He did NOT want to jump during the warm up at all.

Wow, he did waaayyy better than my OTTB at his first show. My guy dirty stopped at every fence and finally got me off at fence 5! He looks like a brave boy and has a good idea for distance.

Very great job! He did marvelous... One thing that caught my eye though... Was the bridle :/

I would invest in a jumping bridle/bit, as a pelham can be harsh for fences... Just a thought.

Lovely riding!! Beautiful horse to, nice job on the braiding.

I would marry my horse. Yes, I just said that.
