A job well done ...so far

At what point do you sit back and say well the hard stuff's over for now I should buy myself a drink!

I had one of those moments the other day when I pulled my green mare out of the paddock saddled her, hopped straight on and in the wind with the kangaroos everywhere had a beautiful ride. Nice smooth trot popping over the cross bars including one with poles before AND after. Coming back nicely to walk or popping into canter over the jumps.

I took a moment and went, well this round is done. Although still green the basics are solid.

Obviously there is still a long way to go but that's one box checked.

Sounds great. Why don't we both go and you can buy me a drink, too?

That sounds so cool! I'd buy you a drink if you'd show me a kangaroo hopping around! What a blast!
