IF you can watch clinton anderson first ground work. IF you don't own it and can't afford it. You might try a library. I think it is definitely worth the money. Clinton Anderson addresses this on the video. Just keep taping, staying in a safe spot until he does what you want. Even just a small step. If you stop when he acts this way, the horse gets what he wants and you loose (respect). I think he even smacks his hard 1 or 2 times to let the horse know "Don't do that"

My horse did the simular thing and it worked. I used to get scared and stop but found out that was the wrong thing to do. He is much, much better now. Can't wait for spring weather to get started again
