    Unhappy Klassy and I need your help, please read!

    Please tell me if you see somthing that stick out to you, Iave been having tons of issues with her when riding and am tring to elimnate anything that I can!

    Here is what I have done to help her:

    * Got her teeth done
    * Feet trimmed and new shoes
    * New better jiont suppliment
    * Bodywork/massage
    * Time off (two full weeks)
    * Checked all her tack with my trainer to make sure its all fitting
    * Changed her scenery of work (been hacking her out on the trails and road 2-3 times a week)

    None of this will help. Im up tp my neck in frustration and think I am about done trying new things before just having a complete melt down!!

    Im putting her on some Magniesium to see if that helps, She has never been this much of a pain in my rear! We are having to use a chain on her to bring her in and out, everyone has to walk 10 feet behind her and be really careful around her legs and face.

    She has never been beat, not lame but is a mare who will tell you when somthing isnt right, I just can't put our hands on it! I want her to feel good again but IDK how to help her!

    Please if you have any suggustions, SPILL!
    Thanks
    Sam

    Unless your trainer has formal training being a saddle fitter, you guys really don't know if it fits or not.
    My friend's mare started acting up and even seemed to have intermittent lameness. Everyone she consulted with, including instructors, chiropractors and massage therapists, thought the saddle fit fine. She decided to go ahead and get a saddle fitter out in a last-ditch effort for the mare. The saddle didn't fit; it was too narrow, and had caused a deep-muscle bruise that needed a few weeks off to resolve.

    We don't know the actual problem! That why I am asking for help.

    JDI, she is a actual fitter, and we have done bodey work on her by pros too. I thought that was the probel too but its not. Tried riding in different saddles and its the same

    Also, has she been vetted? Palpated? (The reason I ask: another friend's mare had a flipped uterus) Blood panel done? Flexion tested, and given a once-over by a vet?

    ETA - Even with different saddles, if there's a deep muscle bruise, the other saddles will irritate it.
    Also, I think Christopher is asking for a list of symptoms. You state in your OP that you've tried a few things, but you haven't provided us with why you're doing these things in the first place, or what she's doing.

    Sounds weird.. Hmm. Colic? Though it's been happening for a while so I doubt that's it. When my first horse coliced, she was acting crazy and just not herself.

    Have you gotten a vet to check her out?
