Liberty Video

Hi,
I was referred to this forum from another forum. She thought you folks might enjoy seeing a video of me doing some ground work with my off the track thoroughbred mare Eliza. Let me know what you think. If you have any helpful suggestions. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have too.

Hope this works. Enjoy!

Great Job!
I'm working on a Liberty video too, watching your video makes me think I should do a bit more desensitising with my boy. Did you teach your mare using Clinton Anderson methods?

I make custom horsehair jewelry at www.sandstormhorsehairdesigns.com

Yes I did. I have been following his methods for a couple of years now with great results.

Hey SarahK, I have just now found you here. I do thank you for bringing your liberty, desensitizing video here to the Horse Forum. I am certain it will help many new to horses, ottbs and some who have had lots of horse experience.

I have for one watched your video twice now and did enjoy watching you and Eliza each time. I have done lots of ground work, but when asked to describe it I always found it very difficult to put it into words. Learning from the visual technique versus verbal or written word is far more productive in the long run.

I was happy to share it and show off my girl! ;)

I rather enjoy doing ground work with my horses. It helps me interact with her in a way she can understand and helps prepare her for the things I am going to ask under saddle. The more I can make the right thing easy and the wrong thing hard the happier we both are. :)
