    Why? If she's starting the horse June 1st as stated what's the problem?

    The OP has been boarding the horse there for 6 months I would think she visits her horse.

    I do however agree that you, OP, should be VERY involved with the training process.

    That was before I read her update. If the trainer isn't doing anything with the horse or delaying when she's going to start why should she keep it there? Which is what others suggested too.

    I wouldn't worry about burning bridges. You're the customer. Besides I would never leave someone hanging on something like that. Especially since it's my livelihood.

    She said she is starting jue 1st. I think she just does not want to waste my money. She knows my hubby is not working and money is kinda tight right now. She even said if the money situation changed even more, that she would work something out with me. She is going to pair me up with him and show me everything I need to know along with lessons. She decided not to start him in may due to the extreme rain. It rained for 21 days. That would have been a waste of money. She is a really good and giving person and I have known her for a few yrs. She has trained and shown horses for 30+ yrs. I will see how his training goes this month and give everyone updates. Thanks for all the feedback!
