Looking for some fun things to do

I am looking for some fun thing to do with a horse. Right now I am working with her at a walk trot canter can jump but I am not doing that with her right now because she is a bit out of shape not bad but need some hour on her. And I use a dressage saddle so I would have to use that. It would be better if their is little thing need

Welcome to the forum! What is your experience? What is the horses' experience? Do you have a trainer? There are too many variables to give a precise advice here, but I always like to work on making my cues lighter and lighter. Can you and your horse do ALL the transitions? Trot to halt, walk to canter, halt to trot, etc... With ease. If not, it would be a good place to start. You can also set mazes with ground poles and try to navigate them with precision in all the gaits you are really comfortable in. You can practice strirrupless riding. You can start learning dismounting from walk, later - from trot, and teaching your horse to stop whenever you are suddenly missing from the saddle. Endless possibilities.... If you posted some photos or a video of you riding, I am sure people would give you lots of good advice. :)

Giving the horse a bath/beauty treatment complete with braids and ribbons has always been one of my favorite fun things to do. Singing on the trail, swimming in the pond with the horse, teaching the horse tricks, taking photos, Halloween costumes if they can stand it.

Yes I do have a trainer the horse is owned by her and I am just doing some work with her. She is very light with the cues so I really can't work on that. But she like to trot like a tank as my trainer say and that some thing we need to work on but I would like to do it in a fun way not just trot around doing circle and thing like that. I just start to ride this horse so I don't really want to to work without strirrupless.

Also I can only ride 2 times a week and she out of shape. She is a Canadian. So she is bigger in bliad but she is about 14.2 hh. Also the owner want her to be ride by a newer ride that would be less then 100lb by next summer. So I am just looking for some fun thing to do in training

Bleh! Doesn't sound fun to me - Pity there's no 'smiley face' of sticking fingers down throat! But by the OP's username, she mightn't agree!

Just gave my opinion of that to illustrate what's fun for me may not be the same as for others. So firstly, I'd make a list of things you think are fun that you'd like to do - tricks, obstacles, driving, trails, etc?? Then as it's not your horse, I'd ask your trainer what she thinks of your list - for eg she may not agree with certain tricks, your level of riding may mean certain things aren't safe, etc, etc.

Ok I will look in to that. But right now I am really just looking for some fun thing to do with her
