Looking for trainer in Southwest Michigan

I am looking for a trainer in the southwest Michigan area. I live in Three Rivers. I have bought my first horse and I am having problems with her manner while riding. It has shaken my confidence. Does anyone have suggestions? Please contact me!

I don't live anywhere near MI but you might contact your local feed store or tractor supply for recommendations. Your vet or farrier may be able to give you recommendations.

is three rivers anywhere near Grand Rapids? i live there and i havent heard of three rivers, but there's tons of places around here with excellent trainers. so if you're near the area i can give you a few names. otherwise, i agree with saddle up; go to your local tack store or feed store and ask around there

Three Rivers is south of Kalamazoo.

Three Rivers is about 30 minutes south of Kalamazoo down 131. I know a great trainer down is Cassopolis (sp?) not sure where that is in relationship to Three Rivers, but I know I go down 131 towards Three Rivers to get there . His name is Dave McCartney (again not sure of spelling). You may be able to look him up or I can try to get his number tomorrow when I get to the barn. He put 60 days on my Friesian/TB gelding and helped me find my QH geldling when we decided the first one wasn't going to work out. He's super nice, even comes out to our barn every so often to give clinics pretty cheap. He does all western riding (has some great reining horses), but was more than willing to try english stuff when he was working with me.

I don't need any payment and I could come to you so you wont have to re locate. just let me know if your interested!

You wouldn't be able to come down to Michigan City/LaPorte, would you?
