That lope again...

I'm not ready to post any videos yet because I've just started riding after the winter break. Riley has come into it with a great mind-set. We are using our port with a training fork and we are doing fairly ok with it.

Our jog and halt and back feels pretty ok. Our bend to the right is stiff and blah but we only have about 5 or 6 rides in since we started back up again. Our lope is fast but we don't care about the speed right now because last year we were kind of a broken strung out trope and we want to move past that. We are a bit slower then an english canter but I'm not using my reins to get the slow, I'm using me seat so... eventually.

Anway right now it feels hard. Like I feel like I'm heavy on his back. I want to roll up on my pelvis and pull my seat up but I know that's wrong for WP. I'm wondering, will it feel better as we round up and get our butt underneath ourselves or is it my riding is too heavy. I'm not sure I can explain it. It's not a choppy feel but we aren't floating. Well, we float for about 3 or 4 strides and then we pound sand... ? Make sense? Help...

To be honest, we would need a video to make any judgement on your seat. Don't be shy.
