IF you enjoy Clinton Anderson's training methods, he has just put out a DVD in his series that instructs how to train simple tricks. I think the one I like the best is when the horse lowers his head down, let's you lie across the neck, then propels you to his back. They also teach bowing, laying down, and sitting (very much like a dog.) I would avoid tricks that could get your horse into trouble, like undoing knots and halters--WAIT A MINUTE--that's what my QH Buster does to his BFF "Sweet Cuppin' Cakes" (the big head in my Avatar)!!!!
Seriously, you could look into Jesse Beery, who trained in the early 20th century:

I guess if it's genetic then you destined to be a GREAT trainer!
