    Understanding how horses communicate with each other makes it easier for us to communicate with them. Many don't know how they do it or understand how to use that.

    It's easy to hit a road block and get stuck. A fresh pair of eyes or another mind can help get unstuck.

    Yes and thank you!!!! I feel so silly for not making that connection especially because I preach it at the rescue. It definitely helps to have another outlook :) I use herd dynamics to communicate on a daily basis with 20+ horses. I'm a ditz sometimes LoL if I had seen myself I would have laughed at me boy do I feel silly Thanks for the reminder!

    Your doing good I bet the next time you try you'll have better luck. Once you do it right the first time it will click and you'll be like duh why did I make that so hard

    I'm already thinking that LoL and thank you both for everything its great to have constructive criticism and encouragement at the same time I can't wait to try again with more knowledge and knowing what I did wrong is going to make all the difference.

    Check out this video! It's really long, but he gets into the lunging part around 1:09 ish. This is a young horse who has never been worked with, so you can see what it's like to teach a horse who doesn't know what you want. I've used this video with my horse as I've been teaching her groundwork, and she learned how to do all of it very quickly.
