    major washing problems!!

    Hi I have a good horse, he stands still for some things ,but when we wash him he's like a new horse. Please help

    Use approach and retreat with both the sponge & shampoo AND the hose. You didn't say which spooked him. It might take one hour...it might take one week. Take the time it needs and be patient. Start with the hose by his front hooves, then on the hooves, then on the lower leg, etc. I would ALSO pick a REALLY HOT DAY bc he'll appreciate it much more. =D

    Nothing spooks him if anything its the water and I start with his legs for every bath
