Mare bred for pleasure, won't slow down?

Hey everyone. I have a question about a filly my friend gave me. She is halter, western pleasure bred and has nice flat knees, although she could use more hock action. Anyways, she just won't slow down! I have to get her worn out before she will slow down and I don't want to have to do this every time I'm going to ride her. It could be that she is nervous with me, but she is the same way in the pen lunging, so idk. Anyways, I've decided that I'm going to sell all of my horses and go through college away from home, and she is the last one to sell. I don't have a way to get pics of her up here for a while, but she is long backed with great long underline, has a nice hip and a great chest! She is a APHA minimal overo with a blad face and two blue eyes. It could be that she is more of a marish mare, because she chills out more on trail rides. She is already trail broke and will walk/trot/canter both directions, but she doesn't like to pick up the right lead outside the round pen. She will put her head down and carry it pretty nicely although sometimes you have to ask her to put it down. She knows the concept she is very nice to ride and has a smooth jog/lope that doesn't through you around. Any ideas what to price her at? I sold Kadie (07 SPB APHA for $1000 and Lady Buckskin AQHA 07 for $2500, so I was thinking because she is so nice, maybe 1750$, 2000$ somewhere in there? Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you!
