Mark Rashid/Kathleen Lindley---anyone use their methods?

A few weeks ago I attended a Kathleen Lindley clinic I really liked the clinic and her ideas of working with horses. I have not seen Mark Rashid in person but have read most of his books.

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen them and/or used some of their training ideas.

Don't know of KL but went to a Mark Rashid clinic a decade or so ago. I think his teaching is more about the philosophy & principles behind 'good horsemanship' than any particular methods. That being the case, I think I use his ideas. I strive to have a considerate, respectFUL partnership with my horses & those I train and be in tune with what they're telling me.

Mark Rashid's ideas have had a big influence on me. I have read four of his books. I think they all were good and covered different things, but if I was to read just one it would be 'Horses Never Lie'.

Mark's ideas reinforced my instincts about horses. I believe them intelligent animals that have have thoughts and feelings, that they have good memories, and deserve fair and loving treatment.

By the way, this is my first post, so hello to you all. I am from Oregon as is my 10 y/o gelding quarter horse Tuffy.
