I have had my newest pony Tinker for about a month now. When I bought her she had been ridden 3 times. The first several times I rode her, I had someone hold onto her. Well, now every time I go to mount her she side steps and avoids me. I convince her to let me on by rubbing her, easing on, and letting her know that I'm not hurting her. However, she's not getting any better with mounting. I'm not sure what the previous owners did to her, if anything, to make her skittish about mounting. Any suggestions?
