Smile My horse is amazing!

I've been teaching my horse to do some groundwork (Clinton Anderson style) and he is already almost on the advanced! He is *so* smart! How many of you use the Clinton Anderson techniques?

I have used some of his techniques, but since I have trained for a long time, I have alot of my own technique and style, before CA came along. I am actually more like Chris Cox in my style, but I use whatever each horse needs to get the message across. I'm not "set" into one person's training methods.

Dont you want to learn from others and better yourself fear the tree ? Your post seems very close minded to me personally...

I really like clinton andersons techniques, I've learned a lot from watching him and have used many of his ground work methods on my mare. She is better behaved on the ground that literally any horse I know. Its great that his methods are working well for you barrelbunny !!! =]

My way combines all the ways I've learned. So I think it's rather good!

I haven't looked into CA much, but his techniques & principles seem to be quite similar to Parelli(well, what Parelli used to be like at any rate) & I was rather into PNH about 15 years back.

I think you need to give yourself a big pat on the back too, because I find that if these sorts of things are taught soundly & consistently, then it's easy for horses to pick up. It's hard for a horse no matter what the 'brand' if the handler isn't a good teacher.

I have watched almost all the natural horsemanship trainers out there and he is def my fav.
I do not agree with all of his methods but if I got the opportunity to train under him I would.
I base my training and methods off of everything I have witness or dealt with in the past. No horse is the same so having a big bag a tricks collected from different trainers and different disciplines really helps.
