My new Dually Halter!

Well, my boyfriends parents got me a Dually Halter for my birthday and I LOVE it!!!
My boyfriend who has little experiences with horses actually taught Hunter to back up in about 20 minutes using it. It's amazing. (Plus he's just that amazing as well )
And he got me a book along with a catch rope from Clinton Anderson. Both are awesome too :) The catch rope is in the first pic just hanging over his neck though..didn't get pictures of that on.

That's cool. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I havent tried any of hte Clinton Anderson stuff... but I think I watched some of his clinics at the horse expo... pretty neat...

That is so cool!! The only one i've seen like that is made by monty roberts except it's a rope that goes from the jaw of the halter around the pole and back...but that's neat

We've got one too! They really are great!!! =D Horses respond to them really well, with very little effort or pressure on your part.

Glad it is working well! Not much of a fan of Clinton Anderson....but if the product works, that's great.

Actually the Dually Halter is Monty Roberts. I just love it as it helps reinforce and teach really quickly with just a little bit of pressure. It doesn't hurt but it gets the point across. Because like I said, my boyfriend who just got around horses when we started dating (He only has met my horses a few times) was able to teach him things in under 1/2 an hour. Plus, you can use it for riding or just as a normal halter.

How does it work exactly? Meaning I see the rope that goes around the nose...does it work like a stud chain?
