New Client - Stoked!

So I got hooked up with a new client today. I've been working not only at the cowhorse trainer's, but also at a ranch working colts, who hooked me up with a gal who had a couple horses needing ridden, and now hooked me up with a gal who has a Gypsy Vanner colt.

Let me just repeat...Gypsy. Vanner. Colt.

Ohhh yes, I'm very excited.

My concerns are this though:

She lives 40 miles from me. I drive a truck at around 17mpg if I'm lucky.
I'm terrible at math so I have to figure out how much to charge I'm so new to the business aspect. Going to sit down and figure it out here before I go.

My second concern is she wants this colt ridden three to four times a week. I'm very interested, but I know she could find someone cheaper (After we cover fuel) to ride for her...But, that being said, I have three people swearing by me and I don't think she knows any better. I won't blame her though if she decides I'm too expensive, lol

Anyway I'm going out there tomorrow evening to try the colt out and see how it's going to go. I'll have a talk with the lady about how much this is going to cost and see what she thinks. I'm not losing much if she says no, I'm mainly doing it for the exposure right now. Plus it's right near a tack shop, and...you know...

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.
