The other day I rode him in his pasture for about 15 minutes, he was really good except he want to take off cantering. A couple days before I was doing some ground work and he seemed to remember after leading him around a little. He hasn't had any lameness and was enjoying being ridden. I've been visiting him for a while before I offically got him. At the beginning I had to back up to him because he was didn't like eye contact. But now he walks up to the gate when he sees me. I think it will be a while before I start doing any major riding. I had my friend who trains horses at a horse rescue come over and she rode him bareback for about 3 minutes no problem. She's going to help rehabilitate him, so he will trust more people. Thanks!
