The Path of the Horse

Watched this on youtube. It is glimpses of a gal's journey after she realizes something is missing. She has competed, trained, taught numerous students and was judge who gave it all up in a quest to learn what is missing. Her journey takes her to Mark Rashid, Carolyn Resnick, Karl Hempfling, the Russian fellow (lengthy Russian name). It brought tears to my eyes as I am on the same journey with my horses. I haven't used corporal punishment on a horse for over 5 years and then it was one who planned on running over top of me. My horses are polite, willing partners. Yes sometimes I get rebuffed by one and that's ok. We don't want our best friends on our door strep all the time either. When something doesn't go right the horse is telling me "you didn't teach me everything I need to know".
