Question Question: Clinton Anderson DVD's

I am a new horse ower/rider. I've been looking at Clinton Anderson's dvds for sale. I have found a used set on craig's list that is affordable ($75). Is this worth my time and money?

I really like Clint Anderson and his DVDs are fun to watch. I know they cost a lot of money. I usually just rent the DVDs I'm interested in at They have a wide array of DVDs which includes training, health and fun stuff, too!

I definatly think so the trainer who stared our 2 yr old gelding does his technique for colt starting and retraining and its amazing. In 2 1/2 weeks she was riding him and he didnt try anything. And he was a unhandles 2 yr old when we bought him a few months ago.

Also she said that if you become a member on his website for $20 a month you get a dvd in the mail each month and free tickets to his clinics whenever you want to go.

Personally, I really like Clinton's DVDs. Especially if you are relatively new to the whole horse business, they are a really good way to learn more about how horses think and learn. Clinton does a good job of explaining things in a way that is clear and easy to understand. What series are you looking at?

Some people love him, others not so much - it really depends on how you feel about him yourself. You could buy them and easily resell them if you think he is not for you.

Personally I would spend the $75 on a real live trainer that can come out and help with your horse.

I agree, they would be worth it.
I also think he explains things in a way that is very easy to understand and pick up, and it is great to have some thing to go back and reference if you need a refresher.
His methods have worked great for me and my horses.
