Okay I talked to my instructor again, and I misunderstood. Since it's been quite a while since she's been worked hard, he was getting her energy out so she would understand that it's time to work.

Today I let her out to run before tacking up, and she galloped for about a minute and then walked to me to be haltered. So I took her into the round pen and exercised her for about 5 minutes, and then groomed her down and had her lunge again for 5 minutes. Finally I tacked her up and got on. I did around the world on her and walked/trotted her around for a little over an hour and a half.

She did great!!! I was so surprised, and I felt so comfortable. We did lateral flexion, and different exercises. I'm so excited, and happy!
