    Another thing you can do is just leading her everywhere, doing that builds a bond and will get her used to all kinds of stuff, if she freaks out at anything just keep walking like nothing happened and she will soon realize that spooking at stuff gets her nowhere and no attention. That will get her to trust you.

    What kind of feed? Sweet feed can make a horse hot, or feeds with lots of molasses and sugar.

    I would recommend to begin lunging her with side reins to start teaching her balance (especially the clockwise direction). You may wish to begin with just 1 side rein on the inside of whatever direction you are lunging to start the basics of bending and balancing using her body instead of her neck and head. Hope this helps!

    I agree accept I would not lunge her with a lunge line. I would either use longlines or a round pen to free lunge. A lunge line is not good for teaching balance.
